Beekeeping Demo at Tower Hill

Dearly beloved we gather today as much sweetness 

as we may, extracting amber hexagon trays

from stacked white boxes.

There they are:

         architects, nurses, nannies,
         dancers, guards and undertakers:
kneading the meadow’s bouquets into bee’s bread,

         honey in with pollen, 

         filling the coffers.

Seal all under gold wax. Ambrosia before dying.
